Early going is a struggle for survival in a gleaming, threatening space station. Prey does shine in its structure and mechanics, but story elements seem ill-explored. There are enough different powers that Prey will likely be just as much fun on a second playthrough as on the first if you mix up what abilities you pick up. But in terms of creating a powerful narrative on par with that seen in Rapture, Prey sadly falls a bit flat.
